Keble appoints Outreach and Career Development Fellow

Dr Foteini Dimirouli joins Keble as the first Outreach and Career Development Fellow at the College. This position, which has been generously funded through alumni, is intended to further embed access and outreach work in the Fellowship and also to assist a scholar in the early period of post-doctoral research.

Foteini will be working chiefly with schools and pupils in the College’s target local authorities, Birmingham,Sandwell, Solihull, Coventry, and Warwickshire. In collaboration with our existing Access Officer, Nicole Boothman, she will be intensifying the College’s efforts to attract successful applicants from schools and backgrounds with a limited history of progression to Oxford University.

Foteini’s research is in the field of modern English and Greek Literature, comparative literature and theories of comparison, and cultural theory. She completed her DPhil at Keble on the English and American reception of the Greek-Alexandrian poet C P Cavafy and arrives back at the College after a year at Princeton University.
