Keble DPhil student wins national thesis award

Keble DPhil student Klaudia Krawiecka was awarded a prize for the best information security thesis in Finland at a ceremony which took place on 24 October in Helsinki. She was the first woman to receive the award.

Klaudia’s work introduced SafeKeeper, a programme addressing the challenge of protecting users' passwords and other types of sensitive web server data. Her thesis was entitled ‘Improving Web Security Using Trusted Hardware’, and was produced for her master’s degree at Finland’s Aalto University. Klaudia is currently pursuing a DPhil in Cyber Security at Oxford.
