Keble Fellows Judge ‘Poetry on the Move’ Competition

Wednesday 26 February 2014

Keble English fellows Matthew Bevis and Erica McAlpine joined poet and writer Ruth Padel and Professor of Migration and Citizenship Bridget Anderson in judging ‘Poetry on the Move’, a competition organised by Oxford University’s Centre for Migration, Policy, and Society with help from Keble College. Alongside the main awards, there was a schools poetry competition for children aged 11-16 in Oxfordshire. The three adult winners and two of the young poets were honored at the awards event held in the Ashmolean Museum on 22 February.

Keble will host a poetry workshop for a dozen of the young poets in March.

The winning entries can be read on the Centre for Migration, Policy, and Society website.
