Keble Student Wins Duke of York's Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award

Keble undergraduate Robin Bhaduri (2011 Chemistry) has won the Duke of York's Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA), along with teammate Soham Trivedi (MSc Computer Science at Queen Mary University).

The Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award is a new initiative for 14-25 year olds which aims to support young people in establishing successful digital businesses.

Bhaduri and Trivedi were presented the award for their development of  'Candle Path', an app that navigates you via the safest routes at night. The prize includes £15,000 of funding, as well as professional support from a number of iDEA partners including Microsoft Ventures, Barclays, Facebook to further develop their business ideas.

Bhaduri and Trivedi were one of three winning teams.  More information is available on the iDEA website.
