Keble Student Wins Medical Exam Prize

Friday 30 May 2014

Second year Medical student Owen Duffey has been awarded the Gibbs prize for best overall performance in his 1st BM part 2 exams. He scored merits in all four of the exams covering Neuroscience, Pathology, Applied Physiology and Psychology for medicine. These exams are of particular importance in terms of onward career progression as they are the last set of exams they sit before applying to clinical school. As noted by the Chair of Examiners, Prof Greaves, this is a real mark of distinction in what is a very competitive field of just over 150 medics from across the University.

More student prizes are expected to be announced in the following months.
