Keble students win Engineering Leadership Awards from the Royal Academy of Engineering

Monday 21 April 2008

Toby Miller (EngSci) and Nneka Orji (EEM), two 2nd year undergraduates at Keble, have both been awarded Engineering Leadership Awards by the Royal Academy of Engineering.

The Engineering Leadership Advanced Awards Scheme is an annual programme that enables many young engineers at university to take engineering and management to a higher level. Students involved in this programme will have the opportunity to further their knowledge in engineering while gaining a renowned and recognised award that will help advance their career in the future. The awards provide motivation and mentoring support for some of the most exceptional engineering undergraduates in UK universities. Only 20-30 are awarded nationally each year, so for Keble students to win two of them is a significant achievement.
