Launch Event of New Keble Research Group
Tuesday 03 November 2009
The new Keble Imaging Research Cluster will be formally launched at an open lecture and discussion to be held next Monday, 9 November. The group brings together the disciplines of Engineering, Immunology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Neuroscience and Philosophy to look at the exciting possibilities, and the implications, of new ways of imaging the body and the brain. It was formed with a core group of seven Keble Fellows, and further information on their planned work can be found here.
A lecture on “Challenging our Understanding through Imaginative Imaging" will be presented by Professor Stephen Faulkner and Dr Simon Hunt. It will take place on 9 November at 5.15 pm in the Roy Griffiths Room, Arco Building, and initiate a discussion on the opportunities and unsolved problems to be tackled through trans-disciplinary studies in imaging. Professor Faulkner and Dr Hunt will give snippets from their own research in this area
All are welcome from all disciplines, and interested members of the public
