Leavers’ and Parents Tea, St Mark’s Day 2016

Sunday 24 April 2016

It has become a tradition for the leaving students and their parents and family members to gather for tea in Hall on the first Sunday of Trinity Term. The event this year was attended by over 200 guests. The Warden thanked the students for all they had done to contribute to the life of the College and wished them well for their forthcoming exams.

St Mark’s Day is also the occasion on which the College remembers its’ founders and benefactors. This year marks 150 years since the death of John Keble, in whose name the College was founded. His life was celebrated with a particularly special service in chapel and a dinner in Hall.
