Tuesday 11 October 2016

Mobile Robotics Group spin-out company Oxbotica, led by Keble Professor Paul Newman and housed at the College's 23 Banbury Road site, has tested self-driving vehicles in public space for the first time in the UK. The test, which took place today in Milton Keynes, is part of the LUTZ Pathfinder project, which is a pioneering research and development project carrying out the UK’s first such trials.

Professor Newman is Keble Fellow and BP Professorial Fellow in Information Engineering.
