Talk at the Royal Opera House for Keble students

Thursday 19 January 2012

On Thursday 19th January, members of the College had the opportunity to meet with Keble alumnus and CEO of the Royal Opera House, Lord Hall. In this once-in-a-lifetime event, the group travelled to London where they were treated to a talk by Lord Hall and given a personal tour around the prestigious venue he manages. Lord Hall’s career, encompassing not only membership in the House of Lords but also directorships in the arts, television and a hand in organising the London Olympic Games, showcases the heights that a graduate from the College can aim to reach. The experience, supported by the Keble College Music Society (KCMS), was an inspiring and memorable one for Keble’s music-lovers – among whom were the Warden and JCR President.
