Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1909. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers' Training Corps. 2nd Jurisprudence. and B.A., 1912. Commenced service on 13 November 1914. Second Lieutenant of the 7th Battalion, Border Regiment, 1914; Lieutenant and Adjutant, 1916; Captain, 1916 serving in France. Died of wounds received in the Battle of the Somme, 1 November 1916.
