Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1910. A member of the 1st Association Football XI, 1910 - 1913; Athletics Team (President, 1912 - 1913). B.A., 1913.  A member of the University Contingent of the Officers' Training Corps. Oxford House, Bethnal Green, 1913 - 1914. Commenced service on 26 October 1914. Second Lieutenant, 2/7th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, 1914; Lieutenant of the 9th Battalion, 1915; Captain, 1915. Served in France. Killed in action, Battle of Loos, 25 September 1915.
