Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1905. A History Exhibitioner and a member of the 1st Cricket XI, 1907; 1st Hockey XI, 1907 - 1908. 2nd History and B.A., 1908. Commenced service prior to the outbreak of war on August 4th, 1914. Second Lieutenant, 31st Punjabis, British Indian Army, 1908; Lieutenant, 1910; Captain, 12th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps, 1914 in France. Died of wounds received in action at Poperinghe, Flanders, 26 February 1916.
