Assistant Master of Lindley Lodge, Nuneaton, 1897; Headmaster of Holland House Preparatory School, Hove, 1901 - 1914. Joined the 1st Battalion, Home Counties Brigade, Royal Field Artillery (Territorial Force), 1913. Second Lieutenant, 1913; Lieutenant, 1913; Captain, 1913. Mobilized, 1914. Died on active service, Mhow, Central India, 24 May 1915.
