Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1898. A member of the 1st Rugby Football XV, 1898 - 1901 (Captain 1900 - 1901). 3rd History and B.A., 1901. Qualified as a solicitor, 1904. Practised at Abergavenny (Gardners and Heywood) until commencing service in the Forces in November 1915. Royal Field Artillery, 1915; Lieutenant of "B" Battery, 88th Brigade, 1917. Served in France and Belgium, 1917 - 1918. Killed in action at Kemmel Hill, April 25 1918.
