Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1907. A member of the 1st VIII in Eights Week, 1908. Up for 5 terms. Emigrated to British Columbia, Canada in 1912; orchard owner in Kelowna. Returned to England in 1914 and commenced service on 9 August 1914 to the 8th Battalion, Royal Worcestershire Regiment as Lieutenant; Acting Adjutant, 1915; Acting Captain, 1916 (France). Killed in action at Fonque Villers, near Hébuterne, 30 April 1916.
