Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1911. Classical Scholar. 2nd Class. Mods., 1913. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers' Training Corps. Commenced service prior to the outbreak of war on 4 August 1914. Trooper in King Edward's Horse (The King's Overseas Dominions Regiment), 1914; Second Lieutenant., Royal Field Artillery (R.F.A.), 1914; Lieutenant of the 21st Divisional Ammunition Column, 95 Brigade, R.F.A. Served in France. Died in Westminster on the 21st September 1919 of wounds received in action on 21st June 1916.
