Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1905. A member of the 1st VIII in Eights Week, 1906 - 1908; 1st Rugby Football XV, 1908 - 1910. B.A., 1908; Diploma and Prize in Forestry, 1911.  A member of the University Contingent of the Officers' Training Corps. Imperial Forest Service, India: Assistant Conservator, U.P., 1914 - 1916. Second Lieutenant of the Indian Army Reserve of Officers, attached to the 1/1st Ghurkha Rifles. Killed in action, Mesopotamia, 30 December 1916.
