Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1906. History Scholar. A member of the 1st Rugby Football XV, 1908 - 1909. President of the Essay Club, 1909. 1st History and B.A., 1910. History Lecturer, S.A. College, Cape Town, 1914 - 1915. Commenced service in December 1915. Second Lieutenant of the 3rd Battalion, Dorset Regiment attached to the 6th Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry, 1916, serving in France. Died of wounds received at Wancourt, 3 May 1917. Brother of James Mulock Thompson Stock. The Lancelot Stock History Scholarship was founded in their memory by their mother in 1927.
