Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1908. B.A., 1912. Attended Bishop's College, Cheshunt, 1912. Holy Orders, (d. 1913; p. 1914): Curate at St. James the Great, Bethnal Green, 1913 - 1917. Commenced service on January 10th 1917 as Chaplain to the Forces (4th Class) attached to the 8th Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment. Killed in action near Passchendaele, 3rd Battle of Ypres, 26 September 1917.
