Job Description

We are seeking additional permanent, full-time staff to work with our team of friendly, helpful staff at our new building, the HB Allen Centre, located between the Woodstock and Banbury roads.

This 40hr/wk role provides an efficient service to College members and conference delegates and requires high standards of customer care to provide a helpful ad friendly service to College members and conference delegates.

General duties include:

  • delivery and collection of laundry, chemical and equipment stock control
  • collection and delivery of heavy goods
  • preparation of College meeting rooms
  • collection and disposal of waste
  • sweeping and litter picking in quad
  • daily cleaning duties

 

Essential skills and experience:

  • spoken English to conversational standard
  • proven self-organisation and a team player
  • proven experience of stock management
  • awareness of relevant health and safety regulations

 

Possession of a valid, full driving licence is desirable.

Applicants should note that the job involves lifting and carrying boxes.  Start times rotate between 6am, 7am and 8am on an 'any 5 from 7 day' contract, including some weekend working.
