Academics
Dr Stephen Cameron
Welcome
Keble is one of the most popular colleges for computing in Oxford. I'm partially responsible for the teaching of Computer Science within our 3 undergraduate degrees, namely Computer Science itself and the joint degree with Mathematics. I also act as College advisor for our many graduate students in this area.
Research Interests
My research focuses on a field called spatial reasoning, which is the study of problems whose solution depends critically on the geometry of objects. Examples include: the control of robot manipulators and vehicles; the simulation of manufacturing processes; and the construction of virtual worlds for feature films and computer games.
Recently we've been working with a number of small robotics devices, such as helicopters and for the RoboCup competitions. For more details see my departmental web page.
