Welcome

Most of my teaching is in corporate finance on the MBA, MFE (Master's in Financial Economics) and MLF (Master's in Law and Finance) programmes. I supervise students in various areas of empirical corporate finance. Please see my Saïd Business School website (right) for more details.

I also teach on the following German/linguistics courses. Finals: Old High German (Paper V/1), History of the German Language (Paper IV), Present-Day German (Paper V/2) and General Linguistics (Paper XIII); Prelims: General Linguistics (Paper VIII). Research Interests

My finance research interests are in corporate finance, notably initial public offerings (IPOs), private equity, and institutional fund management.

In German and linguistics my research interests are in Germanic philology and verb semantics.
