Welcome to my home page.

I have been a Fellow and Tutor in Law at Keble College since 1994. I am also a qualified solicitor and continue to practice as a Consultant to Clifford Chance LLP.

Research Interests

My principal research interests are Contract, Torts, and the Conflict of Laws.  I am the author of Treitel on the Law of Contract and co-editor of four books: Commercial Remedies (OUP, 2003) Properties of Law (OUP, 2006), Contract Terms (OUP, 2007) and Contract Formation and Parties (OUP, 2010).  I am currently working on a new edition of Contract for Halsbury's Laws of England.  For a full list of my publications since 2001, please see http://denning.law.ox.ac.uk/members/publications.phtml?lecturer_code=peelw
