The College Statutes say "The Bursar shall under the direction of the Governing Body have the care of the property, income and expenditure of the College and shall be responsible for the domestic economy of the College and the proper keeping of its accounts." So that's what I try to do.

I'm an Old Member of the College ('65-8 PPE) and I took over as Bursar in July 2000 after seven years Keble's Development Director. Before that I spent 20 years in the City and before that was a school-teacher.
