Professor Terence Irwin

Terence Irwin is a Professorial Fellow. He has been Professor of Ancient Philosophy since January 2007. Until then, he taught at Cornell University.
Research Interests
Terence Irwin's main research interests are in ancient philosophy, moral philosophy and its history, and the philosophy of Kant. He has recently completed a book on the history of ethics, The Development of Ethics: A Historical and Critical Study (3 vols., Oxford UP, 2007-9). For details see
