Research activities and collaboration
Keble has an aim of encouraging the strongest possible research collaborations within the College and outside. Being able to mix with, and hear about the work of other students (and Fellows) in quite different research areas is an important advantage of the college experience for graduate students. Key to our aim of collaboration and interdisciplinarity is the Advanced Studies Centre, which you can read about through the link on the left. We have other groups - such as the Social Sciences Group - which encourage wide ranging discussions of interest to students across a broad range of disciplines. Research collaborations are driven both top-down by our Fellows, and from the bottom-up by our graduate students. We feel very strongly that the Collegiate framework provides a very distinctive framework within which interdisciplinary research can flouriish.
