Asia Alumni Weekend and Choir Tour - Hong Kong

The College Choir will be performing at several locations in Hong Kong and Singapore to coincide with the University’s Alumni Weekend in Asia. We would be delighted to welcome alumni, friends and their guests at the following events.

Sunday 19 March


The College Choir will perform at the 9.00am Sung Eucharist in St John’s Cathedral, 4-8 Garden Rd, Central.

This service will be broadcast on Radio 4.

Booking not required.

Tuesday 21 March


Concert – St John’s Cathedral

The Warden will host a Concert given by the College Choir under Director of Music Matthew Martin at St John’s Cathedral, 4-8 Garden Rd, Central. The concert is free of charge. 7.00pm – 8.00pm

Keble Alumni Reception – The China Club

Following the Concert there will be a Reception for Keble Alumni, friends and guests at The China Club, 13/F The Old Bank of China Building, Bank Street, Central (just a short walk from the Cathedral). Drinks and canapes will be served. The reception is free of charge. 8.30pm – 9.45pm

This event is generously hosted by Mr Edward Cheng (Keble 1977).

University Alumni Reception
University of Oxford in the 21st century

The Warden, Director of Music and Director Development will be attending.

Join us in Hong Kong for an alumni event starting with remarks from the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Louise Richardson, followed by a fascinating discussion about Oxford University's distinctive strengths and its future in an uncertain world. The panel discussion will be followed by a drinks reception, offering you the opportunity to continue the conversation and enjoy a short musical interlude provided by the Keble College Choir. Moderated by Professor Nick Rawlins, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Development and External Affairs, the panel will include:

• Professor Anne Davies, Dean of the Law Faculty and Professor of Law and Public Policy
• Mr Miles Young, Warden of New College
• Professor Steve Cowley, President of Corpus Christi College

6:30pm Remarks by the Vice-Chancellor followed by the panel discussion
7:30pm Drinks reception and performance by the Keble College Chapel Choir
