Keble College Chapel Choir

Chapel Choir on stepsMore in-depth information is available on the Keble Chapel Choir Page.

Twice every week the vast neo-gothic splendour of the Chapel of Keble College, Oxford is filled with the sound of arguably one of the best mixed voice choirs in Oxford. Also one of the friendliest, Keble welcomes singers from throughout the University. The Keble Chapel Choir Page provides information for those wanting to know more about the choir and those wishing to join. You will also find links to listen to the choir on this page, as well.

The choir has performed all over the world: East Coast of the United States, Korea, Singapore, France and the Czech Republic.

Our fixed weekly routine consists of services on Wednesday and Sunday evenings with a rehearsal before each service and an additional one on a different night. College events outside this routine include weddings, gaudies, concerts and a service on Ascension Day morning from the Chapel roof. There is also a busy social element to the choir with several parties, dinners and bar trips.

The Choir also has many commitments outside the college, regularly performing around the country in both Cathedrals and in the various college parishes.

The Choir has been heard on Radio 3 and Classic FM and has recorded with Priory Records.
