Keble College Music Society
Keble College Music Society exists to assist and promote all music making within Keble College. The society aims to increase musical appreciation and encourage excellence in musical performance within Keble both by members of the College and by invited musicians.
During each full term, the society arranges a Warden's Concert which is normally given by members of the College and arranged by the society and a recital (or concert/master class) given by invited musicians of professional standard. Further to this the society promotes a concert each term by the Keble College Orchestra. Entrance to these concerts is heavily subsidised by grants from the College to ensure that as many students as possible are able to appreciate the very high standard of music within Keble.
You can view a report on the 2010-11 season here.
The society also provides financial and promotional support to all music groups within Keble and is responsible for the award of the College Music Scholarships. The Keble Association provides a variety of grants which can be used to help students to fully participate in all aspects of College life. They have previously given grants to music related projects and details of these are available on the Keble Association website.
