Rachel is the college nurse for Keble, Green Templeton and Somerville colleges.
She is based a short walk away in Somerville College in Darbishire 16. She is a registered nurse with many years of experience. As your college nurse, she is available for assessment and advice on minor injuries and minor illnesses. She is also available, along with the welfare team, to support any students who are struggling with mental health. She can offer advice and support for students with long-term health conditions or disabilities, as well as signposting to other welfare and health services should you need them.
Rachel works closely with the college doctors at the Observatory Medical Practice so if you are unsure if you need to see a doctor, please make contact with her first. She is available term time Mon-Fri 9.30-12.30 and 1.00-4.30pm. Out of term she is available via email.
