Mark Little

BSc (Hons), Dip IPEM, MSc (Distinction), MBBS (Distinction), FHEA, FRCR

Mark has been involved in medical education for over 10 years, and was awarded the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2011. He has been teaching undergraduate medical students at Keble since 2013.

After qualifying with distinction from medical school, he trained in medicine and surgery in Cambridge, before being awarded the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Academic Clinical Fellowship (ACF) in Clinical Radiology at Oxford.

Mark is now academic radiology lead and consultant interventional radiologist at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation trust, and Visiting Professor at University of Reading. He is also an advisor on new interventional radiology procedures to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), England.

Mark’s research group investigates novel image-guided therapies, and the development of medical imaging to plan new treatments, and monitor response. Mark is currently UK CI for PROstate, an international study investigating the long-term clinical outcome following Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE). He is also CI for the GENESIS study, the first European trial investigating the role of Geniculate Artery Embolization (GAE) in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.

Mark has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers, and book chapters, presented his work internationally, and received several research awards, including the NIHR LCRN Research Rising Star award in 2018.

C Fielder Camm

Dr. C Fielder Camm undertook his medical training at Downing College, University of Cambridge and New College, University of Oxford graduating in 2013. He undertook his foundation training in the South Thames region before returning to Oxford having been awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship. He is currently a Clinical Research Fellow in the Nuffield Department of Population Health and Honorary Specialist Registrar in cardiology. His research interests are wide ranging and include arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, the genetic epidemiology of arrhythmias, and electronic educational resources.

Fielder has been a Teaching Associate and then College Lecturer for clinical medicine at Keble College since 2015. He has a Post-Graduate Certificate in medical education from the University of Dundee and has published on the role of YouTube as an educational resource for both medical professionals and patients.

As well as teaching, Fielder has extensive experience with the medical publishing industry. He is the Series Editor for the Clinical Guides Series of medical textbooks (Wiley Blackwell) and Assistant Editor for European Heart Journal – Case Reports (Oxford University Press).

Naomi-Ruth Warner

Naomi undertook her medical training at Queen’s University Belfast, having previously obtained 1st class Honours in Anatomy from the same institution. She completed Foundation and Core Surgery Training in the Oxford Deanery, before subsequent appointment to General Surgery Higher Surgical Training in Health Education Thames Valley. She has a sub-specialist interest in Colorectal Surgery and is also passionate about medical education, having previously been awarded NDS Year 6 Tutor of the Year.

She is currently spending 2 years out of programme as an Education Fellow in Buckinghamshire NHS Trust, whilst simultaneously completing a Masters in Medical Education from the University of Dundee. She has been a Surgical Teaching Associate at Keble College since 2017 and contributes to the Oxford undergraduate surgical teaching programme. She has co-founded and leads the NDS Basics for Medical Education Teaching (BMEC) course and also co-ordinates the regional teaching programme for general surgery registrars.

Outside of professional commitments, she enjoys sport; playing both Gaelic football and football for teams in Reading, and supporting Manchester United and the Ireland rugby team. She has a keen interest in Irish history, politics, music and language.
