Poetry at Keble
Our Reading Groups
and Seminars
Poetry has a special place at Keble. John Keble himself was a poet and, more recently, Sir Geoffrey Hill was a student and Honorary Fellow. ‘Poets at Keble’ brings both established and emerging poets to the college, and we host two seminar series: ‘The Poet’s Essay’ with Adam Phillips, and ‘Poetry & Painting’ with T J Clark. We are home to a bi-weekly poetry reading group during term time: The Salutation & Cat. All these initiatives are free and open to the public.
