Working with Teachers

Working with teachers is an important part of Keble’s Access & Outreach strategy. Current events targeted at teachers and school staff are listed below.

If you’re a teacher interested in joining our link school mailing list (for state schools in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire), please contact outreach@keble.ox.ac.uk. Keble’s Outreach and Admissions staff are always happy to respond to queries about the college and the Oxford application process by email.

Virtual State School Teachers’ Conference: February 2023

Keble is delighted to offer this virtual event series alongside Oriel and University Colleges (Oxford for West Midlands) during February 2023. This virtual conference is offered for teachers and other school staff involved in supporting university applications and aspirations at state sector schools and colleges from anywhere in the UK. The virtual conference is not open to prospective students.

Instead of a full day event, this year’s virtual conference has been split over two evenings (4-6pm). All delegates will receive joining links for all sessions, as well as access to recordings after the event. All sessions will be hosted using Zoom webinar technology. It is hoped that these arrangements will make the virtual conference as accessible as possible to teachers and school staff.

A provisional programme for the virtual conference is outlined below. A full, confirmed programme with all speakers will be uploaded in due course. Please note that the programme for this virtual event has changed slightly since it was first published, and will now take place over two evenings, on 8th and 15th February.
