Each term, a poet visits the college for a reading followed by a question-and-answer session. The spirit of the events is relaxed and informal. Entry is free, and the series is open to members of the university and to the public. The next reading in the series will be by Richard Scott.

Richard Scott was born in London in 1981. His poems have appeared widely in magazines and anthologies including Poetry Review, Poetry London, PN ReviewSwimmers, The Poetry of Sex (Penguin), and Butt Magazine. His pamphlet Wound (Rialto) won the Michael Marks Poetry Award 2016, and his poem ‘Crocodile’ won the 2017 Poetry London Competition. Faber & Faber published his first book, Soho, last year. He teaches poetry at the Faber Academy.
