You are warmly invited to join the open session of The Emmy Network Conference 2022.

The Emmy Network, based at Keble, brings together distinguished scholars and students in fields of inter-disciplinary research, and supports and directs this growing global collaboration. Emmy researchers work to create new knowledge, and to improve our understanding of social, cognitive and conceptual systems. Their impact takes many forms ranging from creating spin-out companies and new philanthropic initiatives to holding gatherings reaching across academic communities, and advising governments, NGOs and companies.

This open event is an exciting opportunity to hear from key Emmy researchers on their work to date, and their aims for the Emmy Network.

Speakers will include: Keble Fellow by Special Election, Joël Ouaknine (Computer Science) – whose research interests include automated software analysis, Professor Joseph Almog (Philosophy) – whose research focuses on the place of infinity in nature, and Dr Jussi Westergren – founder of the Emmy Network.

The talks will run from 5.30 – 6.30pm, including a Q&A, in the O’Reilly Theatre at Keble. The event will be followed by a drinks reception until 7.00pm.

If you would like to attend, please register online before Friday 27 May.
