Fellow Elected to the European Academy of Sciences

Professor Gui-Qiang Chen, Keble Professorial Fellow and Professor in the Analysis of Partial Differential Equations at the Mathematical Institute, has been elected to a Fellowship of the European Academy of Sciences (EurASc).

EurASc is a non-governmental, European association committed to promoting scientific and societal progress. Academy members are elected for their outstanding achievements in science, arts, and governance. More information can be found on www.eurasc.org.

Gui-Qiang Chen’s main research areas lie in nonlinear partial differential equations, nonlinear analysis, and their applications/connections to mechanics, geometry, the other areas of mathematics and the other sciences.
