Recognition of Distinction for Keble Fellows

We are delighted to announce that two Keble Fellows have been included in Oxford’s latest Recognition of Distinction Awards: François Caron, Professor of Statistics, and David Downs, Professor of New Testament Studies.

François Caron is a Tutorial Fellow and Professor at the Department of Statistics. His research interests lie in the development of statistical models and computational procedures for the analysis of structured data, with particular interest in Bayesian nonparametrics and Monte Carlo methods.

David Downs is a Tutorial Fellow and Professor in New Testament Studies in the Faculty of Theology and Religion. His publications have focused mainly on Pauline theology, economic issues in the New Testament and early Christian literature, and the writings of the Apostolic Fathers.
