The Bursar – according to the College’s statutes – is responsible for the ‘care of the property, income and expenditure of the College and [its] domestic economy’.
Ivan Rockey took up the office of Bursar at Keble in 2025, after almost 30 years in arts management and leadership, including as Executive Director of British Youth Opera (2009-2014), Director of Finance, Operations & Governance for the internationally-renowned Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (2014-2020) and Director of Finance & Resources for the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre (2020-2025).
He holds a First class degree in Music from New College, Oxford, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University.
