Michael is a chartered accountant and assists the Bursar with all financial reporting aspects of the College. His role primarily involves taking information prepared by the accounts team and producing user-friendly reports for others to utilise in decision making.
His responsibilities include production of the regular management accounts and the statutory year-end financial statements. Additionally, he supports the yearly budgeting process and drives the forecasting process, in conjunction with the College’s budget holders. He also reviews processes linked to the College’s finances for improvements and efficiencies.
Finally, Michael provides reporting services to the College’s operational teams. These services range from financial analysis and support for significant one-off projects to providing regular ongoing financial and operational information.
