Dr Anna Lei Chen completed her PhD at Northwestern University, USA in 2002.
She was Researcher Fellow with a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Northwestern between 2003-2004, and then a visiting scholar before joining Keble College as a Lecturer in Mathematics in 2010, and has been a Senior College Lecturer at Keble since 2021.
Her research interests include nonlinear control theory; the application of the optimal control theory in industry; Differential Equations and their application, application of probability and random processes in industry.
In recent years, she has focused on her teaching work and her unfinished books about nonlinear optimal control theory and handbooks of Real analysis and Numerical Analysis.
