Neil Laws is the Director of Studies in the Department of Statistics.
He was previously a University Lecturer in the department with research interests in the modelling and optimisation of networks, in particular dynamic routing in queueing and loss networks. As Director of Studies he undertakes a range of duties related to the organisation and management of the department’s teaching, examining and admissions, and contributes to teaching.
