Edwin Peel has been a Fellow & Tutor in Law at Keble since 1994, and Professor of Law in the Law Faculty since 2010.
He also occasionally acts as a barrister and, equally occasionally, sits as an Arbitrator. His principal research lies in the law of Contract, but he has also published in the Conflict of Laws (or Private International Law) and in Tort. At the University, he teaches two core papers (Contract and Tort), as well as a third year option (International Trade). He also teaches on the BCL/MJur (Conflict of Laws). His most well-known publication is Treitel on the Law of Contract which is in its 15th edition.
