Jeremy David Fix is a Tutor in Philosophy at Keble College and a departmental lecturer in the Faculty of Philosophy.
He works in practical philosophy, focusing on metaphysical questions about agency and ethics, especially as they relate to each other. Recent work defends and explains the claim, of Aristotelian and Kantian heritage, that practical reason is our type of will rather than its being an intellectual capacity whose exercises can influence those of our will.
