Dr Theodosios Kyriakou is a Senior Research Scientist and Project Manager at the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics. He is also a College Lecturer teaching Genetics to students of Medicine, Biomedical Sciences and Human Sciences.
His research interests are focused on genetics of cardiovascular disease. He is part of a consortium of researchers based in the UK and Germany using complementary cell model systems and high-throughput genomics in order to experimentally identify and characterize the molecular and cellular mechanisms through which genetic variants increase cardiovascular risk.
Theo is also a Project Manager in the Oxford Genomics Centre with a particular interest in single cell and spatial transcriptomics.
