Dr Theodosios Kyriakou is a Senior Research Scientist and Project Manager at the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics and College Lecturer teaching Genetics to students of Medicine, Biomedical Sciences and Human Sciences.

His research interests are focused on genetics of cardiovascular disease. He is part of a consortium of researchers based in the UK and Germany using complementary cell model systems and high-throughput genomics in order to experimentally identify and characterize the molecular and cellular mechanisms through which genetic variants increase cardiovascular risk.

Theo is also a Project Manager in the Oxford Genomics Centre with a particular interest in long read sequencing.
