Kathy Harvey is Associate Dean for Degree programmes at Said Business School, where she oversees the MBA and Executive Degrees and leads the Entrepreneurship Project for Executive MBA students.

She is interested in entrepreneurial leadership and team motivation and has written and taught cases on crisis and stakeholder management, corporate diplomacy and start-up strategy.

Kathy began her career in journalism at the BBC, as a news reporter and then as a political lobby correspondent at Westminster, before moving into feature writing and then into academia, designing executive open enrolment programmes for Said Business School and directing the School’s Executive MBA. She is an associate faculty member at the Vedica Institute in India. She holds a BA Hons in English Language and Literature from Cardiff University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from City University.

Kathy is a patron and trustee of the Orwell Foundation.
