Peter is a Lecturer in Ancient History at Keble College.
He teaches a range of papers in Greek history, Archaeology and ancient Greek across the Archaic and Classical Periods. His research interests are twofold, comprising firstly, the emergence of alphabetic Greek writing in a Mediterranean context, and secondly, the transition from bronze to iron in Greece in the first half of the first millennium B.C.
