Dr Ian Archer is a historian of early modern London who has published widely on the social and cultural history of the capital in a period of crucial change.
He has contributed to several digital humanities projects and was the Academic Editor of the Bibliography of British and Irish History from 1999 to 2010. He is an Honorary Vice-President of the Royal Historical Society.
