Daniela Ferreira is a Professor of Mucosal Infection and Immunity and NIHR Research Professor.
Daniela leads a large research programme and research group at the Oxford Vaccine Group (Department of Paediatrics at the University of Oxford) and the Liverpool Vaccine Group at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
Daniela is a global leader in Controlled Human Infection Models (CHIM) and mucosa immunity. These models particularly useful to understand disease pathogenesis and test immunotherapeutic and vaccines.
